Think Ink *Instructor: Karen This workshop style class is based on the recent ink technique series "Thinking Inking" by Jennifer McGuire. In this class, you will learn how to use a variety of ink-based products to create beautiful effects perfect for scrapbooking, card making & altered books. This is a repeat class, using the most recent Tim Holtz distress ink colors and new stamps. If you have already taken this class you are welcome to attend again. Session 1: Saturday March 20th, 10:30-12:30 Focus is on Distress Ink techniques including, water color, blending, masking and stamping. Session 2: Saturday April 17th, 2-4pm Focuses on other Ranger mediums like embossing powders, Perfect Pearls & Glossy Accents. Cost $18-Please see supply list on the right, you will need to bring these items to class.

Supplies YOU must bring to Class: All of the items on this list many of you already have. These tools are what we will be using in each class and without them you will not be able to participate. I will have just a couple of extras to share but I would hate for you to have to wait to share my tools. Please give me a call if you have any questions. 1. Craft Mat-The Ranger teflon one. 2. Ink Blending Tool & extra foam. (2 or more handles would be best.) 3. Distress Inks-at least two that will coordinate together. More if you have them. 4. Heat Tool (if your coming with a friend you can share the heat tool). For the April 17th Class 5. If you have any Perfect Pearls, please bring them. 6. If you have glossy accents or distress embossing powders, please bring them. Please also bring your regular class supplies. Additional tools that would be nice to have: 1. Masks 2. Tweezers We will be getting messy, you may want an apron or old shirt. If your worried about your manicure bring latex gloves. |
